    • George Eloy Boyett, 75, died in Hemphill after an illness. Mr. Boyett was born in Milam, TX. and has lived in Pineland, TX, since 1961. He was a truck driver for Tate's Sanitation Service.

      George is survived by his wife Audrey Boyett of Pineland, his son Gary Boyett of Lufkin, two daughters Vicky Williams and Sherry Boyett both of Pineland. He is also survived by his brother Jimmy Boyett of Alto, TX, three sisters, Laverne Elliott of Milam, Iva Dell Bush of Center, Willa Dean Walton of Huntington, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his sister Maudine Wallace.

      Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, TX. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Bethel Chapel Cemetery, Pineland, TX.
