"Jim" Hunt, 80, of Lufkin died Thursday, Aug. 3, 1995, in Lufkin. He was born Feb. 17, 1915, in San Augustine County. Hunt had lived in Angelina County the past several years and was a retired farmer/rancher. Survivors: wife, Erma Hunt of Lufkin; sons Allen Hunt and Larry Hunt, both of Lufkin; daughter Judy Bynum of Lumberton; sisters, Annie Bell Carter, Claudie Cook, and Hettie Harvard, all of Lufkin, and Bea Burkett of Nacogdoches; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Oakley & Metcalf Funeral Directors chapel in Lufkin with Bro. Bill Bailey and Bro. James Brock officiating.
