Mrs. Frank (Carrie) Korbelik was born October 1, 1879, at Milligan, Nebraska, the daughter of Frank and Petrolena Rischling. She passed away September 21, 1965 at the Good Samaritan Home in Nelson, Nebraska.

Mrs. Carrie Korbelik was married to Frank Korbelik, December 25, 1900, at Milligan. They have six children living: Emil Korbelik of Ashland; Clara Rohla of Bradshaw; Frank Korbelik, Jr., of Nelson; Joe Korbelik of Kanorado, Kansas; Raymond Korbelik of York; and Arthur Korbelik of Santa Barbara, California.

Mrs. Korbelik lived in the Milligan community, moving to Alexandria in 1921. In 1930 she moved to Burlington, Colorado, and later, in 1937, she returned to Nebraska, establishing a home in Nelson so that she could be near her children. She loved life and was always willing to help others. She enjoyed homework and raising flowers was her favorite hobby.

Mrs. Korbelik was preceded in death by her daughter, Mrs. Helen Clark of Geneva, Nebr.; her parents; and her brothers, Anton, Frank, Henry, and Edward Rishling (sic).

She is survived by her husband; six children; eighteen grandchildren, and twenty-nine great grandchildren; one sister, Christina Uldrich; and one brother, Joe Rischling.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 1965, in the Milligan Auditorium, with Reverend Ray Hankins officiating. Interment was in the Bohemian National Cemetery in Milligan. Pallbearers were Joe Korbelik, Rudy Jirkovsk, Millard Korbelik, Frank Uldrich, Leo Rischling, and Adolph Rischling.
