Adrian Travis, age 84, of Hemphill died at 1:15 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 1995, at Sabine County Hospital-Hemphill.
Born Dec. 7, 1910, in Sabine County as a son of the late W. L. and Bessie Travis, he was a lifelong resident. Travis was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church and a farmer.
Survivors: a brother, Artie Travis of Kirbyville; two sisters, Lola EVANS of Many, Louisiana and Myrtie DAVIS of Kirbyville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill with Bro. W. Clarence Howell officiating. Interment followed at the Hemphill City Cemetery.
