William b. ca 1828 NC. 1850 in Lincoln County, I couldn't find in 1860, but still there in 1870, but the census I read was horrible, looks as though they had four children, 3 sons and one dau. In Pleasant Hill Ch Cem. near Raysville, Moore County TN is a W. F. Steed 1825-1913, don't know if this is the correct person for him."
