    • Volume 18 of the STIFFLER-BENKELMAN BROADCAST, published September 5, 1955, reported that she was promoted to Telegraph Editor of the Pontiac Michigan Daily Press. Volume 23 of the Broadcast, published September 7, 1963, reported that she had spent the summer at her cottage on Walpole Island, Ontario. She returned in June from a trip around the world on the freighter "Flying Fish" of the Isbradntsen Steamship line. She had retired in January from the editorial staff of the Pontiac Press. The freighter trip was four and one-half months long, stopping at such unusual ports as Beirut, Lebanon; Karachi, Pakistan; Saigon, South Vietnam, and Pusan, Korea.

      Cass City friends of Dr. Harry C. Stiffler have received announcements of his marriage on Wednesday, August 2, to Miss Gemma, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ellsworth ROMINE, of Monroe. Dr. Stiffler is located at Monroe practising his profession of dentistry.

      The 1941 issue of the Striffler-Benkelman Broadcast showed that Dr. and Mrs. Harry C. Striffler of Pontiac were married 25 years ago, Aug. 2, 1916.
