      Services for Sarah Elizabeth Felts, 17, of Hemphill were pending at press time. She died March 16, 2007 in a traffic accident in Nacogdoches County.

      Sarah Elizabeth Felts was born in Conroe on May 4, 1989 to Richard Dean Felts and Andrea Gregory Felts. She was a Senior at Hemphill High School, was a trumpet player and vice-president of Hemphill School Band and was a member of Camp Springs Baptist Church in Hemphill.

      She is survived by her parents, Richard and Andrea FELTS of Hemphill; maternal grandparents, Johnny Patrick GREGORY and Norma Dell GREGORY of Conroe; paternal grandparents, Ronnie and Ona Lee FELTS of Hemphill; paternal great-grandmother, Dorothy FELTS of Hemphill, and brother, Bradford David FELTS of Hemphill. Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill is in charge of arrangements.
