At the time of his death he was widowed and his home address was 1200 West Sycamore, Corsicana, TX. His occupation was shown as Farming, and he was listed as the son of Olen RUSSELL and Martha UNKNOWN. No indication is given as to why his last name does not match that of his father. The informant was his Mrs. Edna Lambert, presumably his daughter. He was buried in the Old Salem Cemetery in Freestone County.
