      Berlin "Bill" Byerly

      Berlin "Bill" Byerly, 92, of Pineland died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at Hemphill Care Center. Byerly was born Aug. 13, 1914, in Terrell, Okla., to the late Vernon and Elizabeth (Fullen) Byerly and had lived in Sabine County over 30 years. He was a deacon and faithful member of Centerview Baptist Church. Byerly was a retired welder and U.S. Navy Veteran. Survivors: a son, Robert Vernon Byerly and wife Mollie of Pineland; a daughter, Virginia Byerly of Mesquite; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Graveside rites were held at 1 p.m. Monday at Ebenezer Cemetery, off Hwy. 255. Services were under the direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home of Jasper.       Berlin Byerly

      Graveside services for Berlin Byerly, 92, of Pineland were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2006 at Ebenezer Cemetery on FM 255. He died October 20 at Hemphill Care Center. Berlin Byerly was born on August 12, 1914. He was a native of Terrill (sic), OK and a longtime resident of Sabine County. He was a faithful member of Centerview Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Robert Vernon Byerly and wife, Mollie of Pineland; daughter Virginia Byerly of Mesquite; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper was in charge of arrangements.
