  Notes	Emil came with his parents to America. When they were in transit, he had a string tied on a bottle, dragging it behing in the water, and as he was bending over, he almost fell in the ocean. Luckily, someone pulled him back up by the shirt tale. He grew up on a farm in Glengary Township. He was a farmer. (Milligan, p 344)
