  Notes	The Sabine County Reporter June 29, 1994, Page 8 Mary Ruth Boyd Mary Ruth Boyd, 73, of Hemphill died at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, 1994, at Memorial Medical Center of East Texas in Lufkin. Funeral services were held Monday at St. Pius I Catholic Church in Hemphill with Father Basil Hoan officiating. Interment followed at Gravelhill Cemetery in Sabine County. Arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home Inc in Hemphill. Mrs. Boyd was born March 14, 1921 in Pt. Arthur as a daughter of Andrew and Evelyn Girouard and was a member of St. Pius I Catholic Church. She had lived in Sabine County several years and was a retired homemaker. Survivors: husband, Dalton I. Boyd of Hemphill; a daughter Kay L. DAKE of Groves; a son, Dale BOYD of Aurora, Colorado; three grandchildren, Christopher BOYD, Barbara Lynn BOYD, and Stephanie DAKE; and two sisters, Marie WALTHER of Lake Livingston and Hazel SWICE of Hemphill.
