The Sabine County Reporter September 14, 2011, Page 11 Eugene Joseph "Joe" Procella Eugene Joseph "Joe" Procella, Jr., 58, died Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, in the Hemphill Care Center after an illness. Procella was born in Jasper to Eugene and Eulene Ener Procella. He had lived in Hemphill all his life working with his father at Procella's Service Station of which he took over ownership and operations in 2010. He graduated from Hemphill High School and earned an associates degree in business at Tyler Junior College. He is survived by his mother and father, Eugene and Eulene Procella of Hemphill; wife, Vickey Bass Procella of Hemphill; daughter, Dr. Andrea Procella Heslip and her husband Eric of Hemphill; son, Eric Joseph Procella and his wife Lana of Hemphill; and grandchildren, Bret and Carlee Procella and Wyatt and Evie Heslip. He is also survived by sisters, Sharon Hough and her husband Robert of Nacogdoches and Debbie Williams and her husband Marty of Brazoria. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Sept. 7, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Springhill Cemetery near Hemphill.
