    • James Hadley Ferguson, 67, of Hemphill, died Tuesday morning in the V.A. Hospital, Houston, Texas. Hadley was born in Pineland to Gay and Betty Davidson Ferguson. He lived in Sabine County all his life and was a overland truck driver with the handle "Midnight Rider". Hadley was a veteran of Vietnam serving in the U.S. Army, he was also a member of the Hemphill V.F.W. Post and the Patriot Riders.

      He is survived by his sister Rhonda Brooks of Bronson, his niece Sarah Brooks Todd of Milam and great nephew Colin Todd of Milam.

      Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, Friday, February 26, 2016, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Saturday, February 27, 2016, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the King Cemetery, Milam, Texas.
