  Notes	The daughter of Rosie DUSIL and Joseph A. PROKOP. Frances was the oldest of eight children, one of whom died in infancy. She had four brother and three sisters. The family lived in a dugout on Turkey Creek near Wilber, near some non-hostile Indians. She and her sister and a teacher were caught in the blizzard of 1888. They followed a fence to her grandparents' home where they stayed for several days. (Milligan, p 289).
