W.T. Arnold delegate to White House conference on aging
Dr. W. Tom Arnold, M.D. was recently named by Senator Phil Gramm as a delegate to the 1995 White House Conference on Aging (WHCoA), which was held May 2-5, 1995, in Washington D.C. The 1995 WHCoA is the fourth such conference in history and the last of this century. More than 2,250 delegates from all 50 states and the U.S. territories gathered at the Washington Hilton Hotel to develop resolutions which will shape aging national policy over the next decade...
Dr. Arnold, a member of the Medical Staff of Diagnostic Center Hospital, said "I was excited and honored to represent Texas at the 1995 WHCoA. Our work in Washington will help define a national aging policy for our country. The follow through to implement policy is also an extremely important part of the process."
