| Tri-County Chronicle Staff Rev. Klump, H. F. Lenzner, Anna Kump, Laura Klump. According to the HISTORY OF CASS CITY (December 1962), THE TRI-COUNTY CHRONICLE was founded by Frederick Klump in 1899 as a competitor to the existing weekly paper, the CASS CITY ENTERPRISE. They co-existed for some seven years. Herbert F. Lenzner, who had been employed by Mr. Klump almost from the founding of the Chronicle became a partner with Mr. Klump in late 1903, and in 1906 not only purchased the remaining interest of Mr. Klump, but also purchased the competitor paper from A. A. P. McDownell, when the two papers were consolidated under the name of the CASS CITY CHRONICLE on April 20, 1906.

| UARCO beats Moore Business Forms by a Nose This article was published in Dallas in the early 1960's, and involved an attempted suit by Moore Business Forms after being nosed out by UARCO on a significant order by a mere $48. County Judge Lew Sterrett favored the lower bid from UARCO. Lew Sterrett was the County Judge of Dallas at the time of the Kennedy Assassination, and was instrumental in both the building and dedication of the JFK Memorial. This was one of Tom McLemore's earliest sales, and he recalls that it took him an incrediable amount of time and effort to persuade Dallas County to move their business from Moore, a corporation with which they had a long standing relationship, to UARCO.

| UARCO Missile Man article Pictured is Robert E. Green of the Watseka, Illinois UARCO Plant in the early 1960's, manufacturing special forms used by Ling Temco Vought in connection with the Minute Man Missile program. The pressures of the Cold War, along with the primitive copying and computer technology at that time, made this a challenging account. The article notes that the rigourous demands of the job meant the forms had to be turned around in three weeks instead of the normal seven, something amazing to imagine in these days of instantaneous reporting and communication.

B. 1859 Texas D. 1939 Texas
Ruth's father lost his first two wives to childbirth, Ruth and her brother being born during his third marriage. Her husband, Finn McLemore, lost his first two wives to childbirth as well. Ruth and her husband must have been overjoyed that she remained healthy and strong after each of their eight children were born. This photo appears to have been taken on the porch of a dog-trot style home, and it appears that two of her grandsons are in the shadows behind her.
