    Reba Arnold Foster , 66, of Hemphill died Tuesday, June 20, at her residence on Arnold Street.

    Born Nov. 16, 1928, in Hemphill as a daughter of the late Myrtle Exa (Bennett) and Carroll Lee Arnold, she was a lifelong resident of Sabine County and a member of Hemphill's First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Foster retired in 1983 as a home ecomomics instructor at Hemphill High School.

    Survivors: husband, Carl E. Foster of Hemphill; two daughters, Renae' Yeary of Jasper and Kimberly McGee of Hemphill; a son, Kenon Carl Foster of Hemphill; two sisters, Myrline Thomas of Humble and Mattie Paul Green of Richardson; and four grandchildren, Casey Yeary, Cane Yeary, Torry McGee, and Kaleb McGee.

    She was preceded in death by a son, Greg Foster.

    Funeral services were held 4 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill with Bro. Wendell Ferguson and Bro. John C. Dowden officiating. Interment followed at the Hemphill City Cemetery.

Virgie Speights indicates that he was teacher at Time, Texas. (Old Timers of Sabine County, p. 41).
