6. | William A. McLemore was born between 1818 and 1821 in Alabama; died about 1905; was buried in McLemore Cemetery, Lawrence County, Alabama. Notes:
Possibly the son of Abner McLemore (b. 1785, NC), who lived in Lawrence County, Alabama at the time of the 1830 and 1840 census? Abner later moved to Marion County, Alabama, and late still to Mississippi. Both Abner and William reported themselves as shoemakers at the time of the 1860 federal census.
Rosemary Hollis indicates that his mother's first name was Lucinda.
William and both his wives are said to be buried in unmarked graves at the McLemore Cemetery in Lawrence County, Alabama.

7. | Charity E. Aldridge was born between 1829 and 1830 in Alabama; died about 1863 in Lawrence County, Alabama; was buried in McLemore Cemetery, Lawrence County, Alabama. Notes:
William is shown married to a Charity on the 1860 census, a Lucinda on the 1870 census, and a Jeminah on the 1880 census. Each of the census enumerations were in Lawrence County, Alabama. However, transcriptions for only his marriages to Charity and Gemima were found, Perhaps Charity was simply a nickname Lucinda went by.
