    Phyllis Hendricker Crocker, 72. formerly of the Arenzville area died at her home in Farmington, Michigan July 29.

    She was born July 14, 1925, near Arenzville, the daughter of Henry and Mathilda Hendricker. She married Ben Crocker of Saginaw, Michigan, December 28, 1949.

    She is survived by her husband, Ben of Farmington, Michigan; two sons, Dennis Crocker of Olatha, Kansas and Curtis Crocker of Dayton, Ohio; one daughter Lori Vollmer of the Detroit, Michigan area; six grandchildren; two brothers, Irvin Hendricker of Beardstown and Harold Hendricker of Arenzville; four sisters, Rose Edge of Chandlerville, Ada Bennett of Griggsville, Bertha Wankel of Beardstown, and Vera Johnson of Salinas, California.

    Funeral services were held at the First church of the Nazarene, Detroit Michigan on August 2.

    Henry Hendricker

    Henry Hendricker, 83, a retired farmer of the Beardstown-Arenzville Community passed away early this morning at Schmitt Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks.

    Mr. Hendricker was born on March 1, 1884, the son of Charles and Sophia Jockisch Hendricker.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Ralph and 2 children in infancy.

    He is survived by: his wife, Tillie; six daughters, Mrs. Arthur "Myrtle" Carls, of Beardstown, Mrs. Raymond "Rose" Edge of Chandlerville, Mrs. Frank "Ada" Bennett of Griggsville, Mrs. Ben "Phyllis" Crocker, of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Ralph "Bertha" Wankel of Beardstown. Mrs. Calvin "Vera" Johnson of Salinas, Calfornia; three sons. Homer Hendricker of Beardstown, Irvin Hendricker of Beardstown, Harold Hendricker of Arenzville; 36 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; four sisters, Bessie Hendricker, Mrs. Hattie Larson, Mrs. Julia Roat, Mrs. Lydia Roat all of Havana; and 1 brother, R.W. Hendricker of Beardstown.

    Funeral services will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene in Beardstown on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with visitation at the Cline Funeral Home from 7 til 9 p.m. on Saturday evening. Anyone wishing to donate may do so to the Bethel Nazarene Church Fund or the Schmitt Memorial Hospital Fund. Burial will be in the City cemetery.

    Mathilda L. Hendricker, 93, Rural Route I, Arenzville, died Oct. 9, 1980, at Beardstown Hospital.

    Mrs. Hendricker was born in Cass County April 9, 1887, daughter of Henry and Christina Menge Krohe. She married Henry Hendricker near Bluff Springs Dec. 18, 1907, and he died Nov. 9, 1967.

    Survivors include three sons, Homer and Irvin, both of Beardstown, and Harold, Arenzville; six daughters: Mrs. Arthur (Myrtle) Carls and Mrs. Ralph (Bertha) Wankle, both of Beardstown; Mrs. Raymond (Rosa) Edge, Chandlerville; Mrs. Frank (Ada) Bennett, Griggsville; Mrs. Benniet (Phyllis) Crocker, Plymouth, Mich.; and Mrs. Calvin (Vera) Johnson, Salinas, Calif.; 36 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by four sisters, a brother, two sons and a daughter.

    Mrs. Hendricker was a member of Bethel Church of the Nazarene and was a charter member of the Friendly Circle Club.

    Services were Oct. 12 at Beardstown Church of the Nazarene. Burial was in Beardstown City Cemetery.
