    Notes:

    Jeanine Baber instead shows her maiden name as Kelly. Maybe the Mr. Kelley living with the family at the time of the 1930 census was her stepfather? If the original marriage license could be found, this discrepency might be resolved.

    FamilySearch.org has a copy of the actual death certificate for a Savana L. Adair of Abilene on file. It shows that she was a 25 year resident of Abilene, and has her date of birth as July 28, with no year written. Her date of death is Sept. 2, 1947, and she died at her home on 521 Willow, Abilene, Taylor County, Texas. She was shown to be born in Sherman, Texas to a Mrs. Black and Sarah Hickman.

    Children:

    2. Jesse A. Adair was born about 1914 in Texas; died about 1978; was buried in South Bethel Cemetery, Braggs, Muskogee County, Oklahoma.
    3. Boyce Ralph Adair, Jr. was born on 22 Oct 1919 in Texas; died on 18 Mar 1991 in Lubbock County, Texas; was buried in City Of Lubbock Cemetery, Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas.

    Notes:

    In 1860, there was a listing for a 24 year old Albert Adair, who was single and living on his own in Winston County, Alabama. Winston is in the proximity of Lawrence County. He was shown as born in Alabama. Jeanine, a third great-granddaughter, states that this is her ancestor, and that he also purchased land at the Huntsville Office on September 1, 1860. She further notes that there is a record for Albert Adair serving as a private for the Confederacy.
