Gail Robinson, on her "Williams/McGee" Ver . 2008-07-22" tree on Rootsweb showed her as Evelyn Sarah Vines. The Texas Birth Index for daughter Helen Marie Bragg shows her as Evelyn Sosa Vines. After marrying her husband George Yudell Bragg in 1939, she moved to Sabine County, Texas, where she has lived all of her adult life. Even at 101, she was said to be still active in going to church and canning jellies of all kinds. Her other favorite pass time is quilting.
The paper tried to get a count of how large her family was, but after a couple of attempts she just said "there's a bunch of us and it keeps growing."
Evelyn attributed her long life to "(living) ...a good life, no cussing, drinking or smoking."
