When the family was enumerated at the 1910 Census, in Carroll County, Tennessee, there were two other people listed in their home with Bertha, Thomas and their young daughters, Almer McReynolds, age 30, and listed as "Partner" and "Farmer" and 48 year old Licle/Dicie/Vicie McLemore, listed as a servant and cook.

Bertha married Thomas Russel Moore on 23 Dec 1905 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Thomas was born on 6 Jun 1886 in Tennessee; died on 11 Aug 1964; was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Milan, Gibson County, Tennessee. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

2. Ina J. Moore was born about 1908 in Tennessee; and died.

Notes:

The History of Carroll County, Tennessee states that "In later years, Jesse was the proprietor of a general store in Whitthorne, TN and was appointed postmaster there in 1901."

Notes:

Jeff Loveless indicates that he moved from North Carolina to Carroll County, Tennessee, and that he served with the 51st Consolidated Tennessee Infantry during the Civil War.

In the "History of Carroll County, Tennessee" it was written that Abraham "m. (1827) Dicey JONES to whom three chidlren were born-Young Phillip, Frances Elizabeth, and Sylvia. Following Dicey's death, Abraham m. (1839) Permeila Jane CAMP and in 1850 moved his family from Williamson Co to Carroll Co TN and bought property near Lavinia. By his second marriage, Abraham had ten additional children. One of them Edward C. McLemore (b. 1860 d. 1898) was the father of Tenn. State Senator Malcolm J. McLemore (b. 1889 d. 1943) and the grandfather of longtime Carroll Co. Court Clerk, James McLemore. (p. 257)
