Winfred E. Wright, Sr. age 79, of Port Neches, Texas died Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Winfred was born October 31, 1934 in Bronson,Texas to Luther Wright and Julia Parmer Wright.

He was a resident of this area for 54 years and a retired Jefferson Chemical Lab Technician. He was a member of First United Methodist Church Port Neches and was also a Mason.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2pm at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Judge Brad Burnett officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

Winfred was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Wright, sister, Virgie Cox and son? in-law, Riley Burnett.

Surviving relatives include his daughters, Belinda Foulk and husband Bill, Betsy Burnett, son, Winfred E. "Rusty" Wright, Jr. and wife Sylvia all of Port Neches, Texas, sister, Helen Minnis of Rosevine, Texas, Verlyn Baber of Beaumont, Texas, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Pat Wright

Pat Wright, 71, of Pt. Neches died Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at her residence.

Mrs. Wright was born Jan. 7, 1933, in Sabine County and had lived in Pt. Neches since 1960. She was a retired vice-president of First South Savings of Pt. Neches with 16 years of service and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pt. Neches. Survivors: husband, W.E. WRIGHT of Pt. Neches; two daughters, Belinda FOULK and husband Bill and Betsey BURNETT and husband Riley, all of Pt. Neches; a son Rusty WRIGHT of Pt. Neches; a sister, Bettye WAGSTAFF and husband Robert of Bronson; eight grandchildren, Amy FOULK, David FOULK, Shane WRIGHT, Tyler WRIGHT, Seth WRIGHT, Britney BURNETT, Meagan BURNETT, and Bryce BURNETT; and a great-grandson, Jacob FOULK. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of Levingston Funeral Home in Pt. Neches. Interment followed at Oak Bluff Memorial Cemetery in Pt. Neches. Luther Wright Dies; Rites Set
Funeral is Today at 4 For Resident of Rosevine

San Augustine, Jun 17 Spl

Funeral Services for Luther Lee Wright, 58, of the Rosevine Community, 12 miles south of San Augustine, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Rosevine Baptist Church.

The Rev. Clarence Howell will officiate. Assisting will be the Rev. Noel Hammock. Burial will be in the Rosevine Cemtery. The Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine is in charge of arrangements.

Graveside Rites

The Bronson Masonic Lodge, of which Mr. Wright was a member, will conduct graveside rites.

Mr. Wright died at 8 a.m. Monday in San Augustine Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

Native of Rosevine

He was an employee of the Texas Highway Department in Sabine County. He was born in the Rosevine Community, Oct. 1, 1904 and was a Baptist.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Julia Wright, Rosevine; three daughters, Mrs. Vergie Lee Roberts, Houston, Mrs. Verlyn Baber, Beaumont, and Mrs. Helen Bigley, Kingsville; one son, Winfred Wright, Rosevine; two sisters, Mrs. Madie Jordan, Beaumont, and Mrs. Hazel Sowell, Nacogdoches; two brothers, Arthur Wright, Beaumont, and Leon Wright, Houston; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
