Lassie Dean Hyden, 69, passed away in her home Sunday morning. Lassie was born in San Augustine, Texas, to Herman and Eunice Kendrick Runnels. Lassie was a member of the Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church, in Bronson, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Jerry Hyden of Hemphill, Texas, her sons: Cade Anthony Hyden and his wife Margie Rene of Bronson, and Cary Andrew Hyden and his wife Debra of Chireno, Texas, her daughters: Amber Lynn Leger and her husband Clay of Jourdanton, Texas, and Jeri Dean Morgan of Kirbyville, Texas, her brothers: Calvin Runnels of Bronson, and Bobby Runnels of Nacogdoches, Texas, her 13 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother Bois Eric Runnels.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM, Monday, March 23, 2015, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Graveside services will be at 2:00PM, Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in the Smith- Mason Cemetery, in Scrappin Valley.
