He was born to Roland Roy and Nay Garlington Gill on February, 1, 1927 in Haslan, Texas.
Roland was retired from the Military. He served in the U.S. Army from 1944 till 1965.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013, 11:00 A.M. Rosevine Cemetery in the Rosevine Community in Sabine County, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Nay (Garlinton) Gill and Roland Roy Gill.
