Lucille Ball
Lucille Iles Ball, 82, of Brookeland died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 1997, at St. Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana.
She was born Feb. 13, 1915, in Sabine County as a daughter of the late Howell and Ira B. (Bennett) Iles and had lived in Brookeland several years. Mrs. Ball was a member of Brookeland Church of Christ and was a retired textile department manager for Rexall Drugs in Juneau, Alaska.
Survivors: two sons, Jerry Ball and Jimmy Ball, both of Pineville, Louisiana; a sister, Inez ENER of Pineland; and a brother, William Howell Iles of Big Spring.
Graveside rites were held at 1 p.m Friday at Brookeland Cemetery with Bro. W Clarence Howell officiating.
Arrangementw were handled by Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill.
