- A Memorial Service for Allen will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Farmer & Son Funeral Home in Geneva. Pastor Stuart Sell will officiate the service.
It was Allen's wish to be cremated and have his ashes scattered at Glen Elder Lake at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
Allen Ray Stych was born at Ohiowa, Nebraska to Edward & Velma (Buzek) Stych on July 22, 1937. He passed away at his home in Hebron, Nebraska on April 24, 2019 at the age of 81 years, 9 months and 2 days.
Allen was baptized and confirmed as an adult at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bruning, Nebraska on December 28, 1952. He graduated from Bruning High School in 1955.
He worked for Hinrichs & Son Hardware in Bruning for 31 years. He was also a partner in ownership of B & Z Oil in Hebron for many years selling petroleum products to many people in the Thayer & Fillmore County areas.
In his spare time, Allen enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his yard. He also enjoyed visiting with his many friends.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Everett Stych.
Left to remember him are sister-in-law Eileen Stych; nieces Pamela Benson and Linda Troester; great niece Jaime Troester; and many relatives and friends.
