This photo, taken by Jacob Striffler, Photographer in Cass City, Michigan. It was labeled Luella Striffler, Born Oct. 15, 1899, died April 26, 1906. The handwriting was not that of Majory Battel or Lena Schwegler, from whom Maggie Battel Bethel inheritied this photo. Luella was the daughter of Solomon Striffler and Kate Buerk, and was killed at the age of six by being accidently crushed by a heavily laden wagon on her way home school.
