  Notes	Sharon Nemeth emailed, in November 2008, that "I have done some further research into Mr. Redmond's background using the 1920 Census in South Dakota. The census has Burton spelled with a "u," not an "e," as is used in the marriage announcement. His middle initial was S. The page he is reported on was taken 08 Jan 1920, so Agnes is not listed with him. He was 28 yrs. old, born in Iowa, employed as a butcher, and was a roomer with the Samuel Alberts family. Mr. Alberts was a theatre manager. Burt's father was William Redmond, who immigrated to the United States from Ireland in 1904. He was 56 at the time of the 1920 census, so would have been born about 1864. Burt's mother, Martha, was born in Iowa; she was 55, so her birth year would have been 1865. There were 3 children--all born in Iowa--listed as still living with Burt's parents: Lloyd, a manager of a produce station [hard to read, but "station" is my guess] (23), Nettie (20), and Gladys (17). The two daughters were not employed."

  	Redmond-Matejovsky On April 27 last, at Bonesteel, South Dakota, occurred the wedding of Miss Agnes Matejovsky and Mr. Bert Redmond of Fairfax, South Dakota. Agnes taught at Fairfax the past year and there made the acquantince of Mr. Redmond. The bride is well know to everyone in this neighborhood, having been brought up in this village. She graduated from our high school in 1913, and then went to school at the Peru State Normal, from where she graduated in 1915. After graduating from Peru she began her teaching career at Prague, Nebraska, and demonstrated her success in the work by staying at the Prague schools for four years. Her fifth and last year of teaching she did at Fairfax, and her services there are still in demand if she cares to accept. Mr. Redmond, we are informed, is the proprietor of the meat market and the "Velda Theatre" at Fairfax. Mrs. Redmond is here now for a two week's visit, and after a short stay with her sister, Mrs. Posvar of Pender, Nebraska, plans to return to Fairfax, where they will start housekeeping July 1.
