KIRBYVILLE Funeral services for Harry Hawthorne, 85, of Kirbyville will be at 2 p.m. today at Causeys E.E. Stringer Funeral Home with burial in Wilkinson Cemetery. He died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at Mary Dickerson Hospital in Jasper after an illness. Survivors include his wife, Lula Jones Hawthorne of Kirbyville; three daughters, Doris Williams of Kountze, and Cecil Barrow and Janie Travis, both of Kirbyville; one sister, Mildred Yeates of Jasper; three brothers, Johnnie Hawthorne of Kirbyville; Frank Hawthorne of Kountze; Madison Hawthorne of Deer Park; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Francis Putnam Putt Hawthorne Jr., 87, of Kountze died Friday, January 27, 1995 at Beaumont Regional Medical Center. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home. A native of Kirbyville, he lived in Kountze 44 years and was a retired section foreman with Santa Fe Railroad. Survivors include wife, Hazel Beatrice Hawthorn of Kountze; daughters, Jackie Allen of Kountze, Brenda Kay McNeill of Lufkin and Linda Kay Westbrook of San Angelo; son, Hugh Donald Hawthorn of Fayettville, Ga.; sister, Mildred Yeates of Lufkin; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
