    Hilda was born Feb. 9, 1940, in Hattiesburg, Miss. to L.B. and Hattie Marie McLemore Tanner. She worked for Irving Public Schools, assistant in a medical office, self-employed owner of a magnetic sign company, ladies apparel store, a trucking company and research for a legal consulting company, retiring in 2004.

    She was married to James Thomas Freeman from 1958 to 1989, Stephen Frank Hefner from 1990 to 2004 when he passed away and Robert Glenn Warriner since March 15, 2008.

    Hilda was a member of Crossbranch Bible Fellowship in Glen Rose, Volks Kruzers Club in Granbury and Legends Street Rod and Customs Club of Wichita, Kan. She enjoyed ceramics, china painting, photography, travel, reading, cooking and motorcycle riding. She had lived in Granbury since 1990.

    Survivors: Husband, Robert Glenn Warriner of Granbury; children, Cheryl Leigh Freeman Faulkner of Saginaw and James Thomas Freeman II of Arlington; grandchildren, Heather Leigh Faulkner, Tanner Scott Faulkner, Christopher James Freeman and Devin Abbett Freeman; stepchildren, Gregory Alan Warriner and Allison Hefner; sisters, Glenda Todd and Sharon Evans-Bost; great aunts, Jean Tanner Crocker of Mississippi and Carole Beth Tanner Wood of Arkansas; great uncle, Aubrey Lee Tanner of Mississippi.

    Arrangements were by Wiley Funeral Home.
