"Grover Lee Polley, 79, of Port Neches, Texas died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas.

Grover was born April 7, 1933 in Sexton, Texas. He was a resident of this area for the past 10 years and a former resident of Sexton, Texas. He worked construction for 25 years and was a US Army Veteran.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10:00 a. m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Rev. Jeremy Bradshaw officiating. Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p. m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Lena Frederick Polley of Port Neches, Texas; sons, Trop P. Frederick of Friendswood, Texas; Chris Frederick and wife Wendy of Pine Forest, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Taylor, and Zac; nephew, Buddy Strickland."

BETTY JEAN STRICKLAND Betty Jean STRICKLAND, age 61, of Orange, Texas, died February 27, 2003 at her residence. She was a native of Sexton, and had lived in Orange about 40 years. She was a Parts Clerk for Cowboy Harley in Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 2, at 2:30 p.m. at Starr Funeral Homes in Hemphill. Survivors: husband, Carter STRICKLAND, Jr. of Hemphill; son Carter STRICKLAND, III of Orange, Texas; brothers, Mac POLLEY of Tyler, Grover POLLEY of San Augustine; sister, Lucy BAILEY of Waco; 3 grandchildren all of Orange; other survivors include (stepchildren): Danny STRICKLAND of Hemphill, and Sharon EDGAR of Hemphill.

Lisa Joan Strickland, 31, of Orange died Tuesday, Jan 4, 2000, in Jasper. She was born Sept. 19, 1968, and had been a longtime resident of the Orange area. She was a nurse's aide. Survivors: father, Carter Strickland, Jr. of Orange; mother Betty Strickland of Orange; daughter Ashley Strickland of Orange, brothers, Carter Strickland III of Orange and Danny Strickland of Hemphill; and a sister, Sharon Edgar of Hemphill. Graveside rites were held on Jan 6 at Plainview Cemetery near Pineland with Bro. Tommy Long and Bro. Vance Purtell officiating. Starr Funeral Homes, Inc., Hemphill directors.
