    GREENWOOD ? The funeral service for Robert Baird "R.B." Moor, will be at 2 p.m. today at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Moor died April 20 at his home. He was born in Greenwood to Jams and Marion Baird Moor. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a farmer and merchant. He was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church. He served as chairman of the Delta Lifestock Parade, was a member of Elks Lodge and co-founded Greenwood Community Band. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Moor. He leaves a son, Robert Baird Moor Jr. of Greenwood; three daughters, Margaret Rinicker of Greenwood, Laurie Robertson of Oxford, Mary Linda Moore of Corinth; brother, Marion Moor of Nashville; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Any memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church.

    Greenwood, MS: Mr. Robert Baird "R. B." Moor died Wednesday evening April 20, 2011 at his home. Funeral services are 2 P.M. Sat. at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. Glenn Seefeld will officiate. Visitation will be from 1-2 Saturday.

    Born in Greenwood to Robert James and Marion Baird Moor, R.B. spent most of his life at Ft. Loring Plantation. He graduated from Greenwood High School in 1944, attended Delta State College and graduated from Ms State University. He served in the US Army Air Corps and was a farmer and merchant. He was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church where he was active in Sunday School, served on the Board of Trustees and was involved in youth activities. He served as chairman of the Delta Livestock Parade, was a member of the Elk's lodge and co-founded the Greenwood Community Band along with Roy Martin. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles H. Moor.

    He is survived by his son, Robert Baird Moor, Jr. of Greenwood, 3 daughters, Margaret Rinicker of Greenwood, MS, Laurie Robertson of Oxford, MS, Mary Linda Moore of Corinth, MS, a brother Marion Moor of Nashville, TN, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

    Pallbearers are Bob Patterson, Buford Tubbs, Ray Makamson, Justin Jeffcoat, Larry Gnemi, Matt Gnemi and Mike Turner. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Edgar Donahoe and members of the Greenwood Community Band.

    Memorials may be made to 1st United Methodist Church.
