Ruth Anna Wentz, 84, of Westminster, died Sunday, April 30, 2000, at the Westminster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife for 56 years of Leroy Charles Wentz, who died in 1991.

Born July 12, 1915, in Hanover, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John and Lizzie (Bange) Cramer.

Surviving are her daughter, Rachael Wentz of Westminster; two brothers, Harold Cramer of East Berlin, Pa., and Harry Cramer of Hanover, and one sister, Catherine Utz of Hanover.
She was preceded in death by four siblings, Stanley Barthold, Victor Cramer, Walter Cramer, and Pauline Rohrbaugh.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, with her pastor, the Rev. Stacy Marsh, officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
