Shirley Thelma Ferguson, 72, of Hemphill, Texas, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill, Texas.

Mrs. Ferguson was born July 15, 1945 in Hemphill to Ralph Center Clark, Sr. and Hazel Thelma Allen Clark. She was a housewife.

She is survived by her husband, C. T. Ferguson, of Hemphill; daughter, Angela McElroy of Hemphill; son, Dustin Ferguson of Hemphill, and two grandchildren, Ashley Renner and Kimberley Vega-Castor.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, August 22, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Springhill Cemetery with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.

Services under the direction of Starr Funeral Home.

Shirley married Cary Thomas Ferguson, Jr. before 1982. Cary (son of Cary Thomas Ferguson and Emma McCormick) was born on 19 Mar 1942 in Sabine County, Texas; died on 11 Sep 2021 in Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas; was buried in Spring Hill Cemetery, Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas. R.C. "Buddy" Clark, 65, died Wednesday morning in the Eden Specialty Care Center, Longview, Texas. Buddy was born in Hemphill to Ralph Center and Hazel Thelma Allen Clark. He has lived in Hemphill all his life and worked as a handyman in several jobs.

Buddy is survived by his sister Shirley Ferguson and her husband C.T. of Hemphill. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Grover Cleveland Clark, Sr.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, September 5, 2013, in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home.

Grover Cleveland Clark Sr

Grover Cleveland Clark Sr., 58, of Hemphill, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Hemphill Care Center.

He was born Dec. 22, 1949 in Hemphill to Ralph C. Clark and Hazel T. Allen and had lived in Hemphill his entire life. He was a machine operator for Temple Inland.

Survivors: one son, Grover Cleveland Clark, Jr. of Hemphill; daughter April Lynn Clark of Houston, brother R. C. "Buddy" Clark of Hemphill, sister, Shirley Ferguson of Hemphill and two grandchildren, Breianna and Darrian.

Graveside Funeral services were held Friday, April 11 in Springhill Cemetery with Bro. Glenn Morton officiating.

Services were under the direction of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill.

Catina Lynn Brady, 56, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill.

Catina was born on May 31, 1966 in Munich, Germany to Cary Thomas (CT) Ferguson, Jr. and Shirley Thelma Clark Ferguson. She was a long time resident of Sabine County and had worked in the construction field as a welder. She attended Word of God Church in Pineland.

She is survived by her companion, Charles Payne of Hemphill; daughter, Kimberly Lynn Bragg of Hemphill; sister, Angela Kay McElroy of Madisonville; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, C. T. and Shirley Ferguson and son, Dustin Randall Ferguson.

Graveside services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Parrish officiating.
