Notes:

At the time he registered for the draft for the First World War, he was living in Choctaw County, Oklahoma. He listed his nearest relative as T. D. McLemore of Bryant County, Oklahoma. He was short, of medium build, and had brown hair and eyes. He was employed as a farmer. His Social Security account was established in Kansas.

His son, Arthur, wrote that "He left the farm at about 13 years old and worked as a dragline operator all his life. He had black hair."
