The informant was Mrs. Julie Ward of Brookeland. She was married at the time of her death.

Luther (son of John Richard Bell and Julia Ann "Annie" "JulyAnn" Smith) was born on 28 Jan 1860 in Kentucky; died on 12 Apr 1943 in Jasper, Jasper County, Texas; was buried in Brookeland Cemetery, Brookeland, Sabine County, Texas. Lee, Sr. and Ola Mae (Powell) Lee. He was the grandson of Thomas Aiken Lee and Emma Jane (Thompson) Lee of Miami, Florida and Henry Jackson "Brink" Powell and Nellie Leona (Bell) Powell of Brookeland, Texas."
