    Graveside services for Charles Kittell, 54 of Jasper, were held Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 12:30pm at Zion Hill Cemetery in Jasper.

    Charles died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 in Jasper. A native of Bossier City, Louisiana and formerly of Beaumont & Houston, he had lived in Jasper for the past six months. A graduate of Forest Park High School, he attended Lamar University. He sailed with Mobil Oil Marine for ten years then served as a Stationer Engineer for a number of years in Houston. He was employed with Tractor Supply at the time of his death. He enjoyed working with computers and reading especially Tolkien.

    He was preceded in death by his grandparents Tell & Edythe McCoy of Jasper and Boyd and Floy Kittell of Liberty, and uncle, Glenn Kittell of Liberty.

    Survivors include his parents Kenneth and Nan Kittell of Coldspring, Texas; three brothers Paul Kittell, Winn Kittell & wife Camille, Reagan Kittell & wife Sharon; sister Holly Weeks & husband Kent; two nephews Travis & Keith Kittell; two first cousins Karen Kittell and Kelly Edwards.
