    Corbett Clark

    Daniel Corbett Clark, 80, of Pineland died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, at Lufkin Memorial Specialty Hospital in Lufkin.

    Furneral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill with Rev. Floyd Wright and Vance Vickers officiating. Music was provided by Susie Clark, Christy Allman, and Mike and Jeannie Sanford. Interment followed at Hemphill City Cemetery with the Sabine County VFW Post #10351 officiating.

    He was born Nov. 22, 1919, in Sabine County and was the son of the late Daniel Wallace Clark and Arie Alford Clark. He was a lifelong resident of Sabine County, where he made Pineland his home. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired from Temple-Inland in 1985 as service superintendent. He was a member of the Baptist Faith.

    He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Reba Boyd Clark, and his brothers, Wayne Clark, Jessie Clark, Basil Clark and James Clark.

    Surivivors: a sister, Geraldine McKinley of Arlington; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

    Pallbearers were Ross Vickers, Bob Neal, Bill Whittington, Tom Clark, Joe Daw, Bruce White and Pat McKinley. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Sabine County VFW Post #10351.

    Memorials may be made to Memorial Speciality Hospital, P. O. Box 1447, Lufkin, TX 75902.

    Allen Basil Clark

    Funeral services for Allen Basil Clark, 68, who resided on Barber Street in Hemphill, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday August 7, 1994, at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc in Hemphill with Bro. Richard Bass officiating. Interment followed in the Hemphill City Cemetery.

    Born April 13, 1926 (sic), in Sabine County as a son of the late Daniel Clark and Arie (Alford) Clark, he was a longtime resident of Hemphill. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired tool and die maker for General Motors.

    Survivors: four sons, Tom Clark of Waco, Joe Clark of Arlington, Milton Clark of Pt. Neches, and Allen B. Clark Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana; a sister, Geraldine McKenely of Arlington; and two brothers, James Clark of Houston and Corbet Clark of Pineland.

    James Edward Clark

    James Edward Clark, 67, of Houton, died Tuesday, March 18, 1997, at his residence.

    Clark was born May 8, 1929, in Hemphill as a son of the late Daniel and Arie (Alford) Clark and was a roughneck.tool pusher in the oil field industry. He had formerly lived in Pineland before moving to Houston 41 years ago. He was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church and a U. S. Army Veteran.

    Survivors: a son, James Daniel Clark of Houston; two daugthers, Ann COZART of Houston and Sande NUGENT of Clarksville, Tennessee; a brother, Corbet Clark of Pineland; a sister, Geraldine McKINLEY of Arlington; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held March 21 at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill with Bro. Richard Bass officiating. Interment followed at Hemphill City Cemetery.

    Kay Frances Clark Boudreaux

    Kay Clark Boudreaux, 67, died January 4, 2008, at her residence in Hemphill.

    Kay was born on December 12, 1940 in Hemphill and was a lifelong resident. Kay graduated from Hemphill High School in 1959 and attended business school in Arlington. She was a secretary for Hemphill I.S.D. for 38 years and was a member of East Mayfield Baptist Church in Hemphill.

    She is survived by her daughter, Gina White and husband Bruce of Hemphill; two sons, Alex Boudreaux and Trent Boudreaux and wife, Tiffany, all of Hemphill; two sisters, Juanice Vickers and husband Vance of The Woodlands and Tommie Hawkins and husband Kenneth of Lufkin; seven grandchildren, Alisha, Zachary, Cole, Daniel, Colby, Harley and Baby Tristan.

    She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Williams Clark.

    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 7, 2008, in the Starr Funeral Chapel, 510 Starr St., Hemphill. Interment followed in the Hemphill Cemetery.

    Pallbearers were Zachary White, Colby Boudreaux, Bryan Brown, Ross Vickers, Joe Daw, Gerald Williams, and Zachary Moody-McGee. Honorary pallbearers were Daniel Wood and Cole Boudreaux.

    In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to East Mayfield Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
