She married a Mr. DARBY ca 1863 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. (The Heritage of Lauderdale County, Alabama, p. 346). On the 1870 census, she is shown as Martha DARBY, with a 5 year old son, Joseph. In 1880, she is living with her sister Josephine McLemore Griffis, and listed as Martha P. DURBIN, with a 14 year old son, Joel.
