At the time of the 1920 Federal Census, a 29 year old Mary Louise Ferguson, single, born in Arkansas, was working as a secretary at the M. W. C. A. and living in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Her father was born in Michigan, and her mother in Arkansas. It is likely this is the same Mary L. Ferguson that was a daughter of William B. Ferguson and his first wife, Ada Marshall, of Little Rock Arkansas.
