Angus Nicholson McLeod son of John Alexander McLeod and Susan Youngblood of Bronson and Hemphill, Sabine Co. TX.

A.N. McLeod, 77 years of age, and for many years a resident of Coleman county, died at his residence last Sunday, April 24, 1927. Funeral services were conducted at the residence by the Rev. Seba Kirkpatrick, pastor of the Methodist Church and internment was made in the city cemetery. Mr. McLeod was born in Sabine County Texas, December 6, 1849 and was married to Miss Sarah Little July 18, 1883. Four children were born to this union, Mrs. Boyd Magness, Mrs. Lee Scarborough, Mrs. Nina Phillips, and Clyde McLeod. Mr. McLeod became a member of the Methodist Church in 1885, to which faith he remained until his death. Friends of the family here and elsewhere will join the Santa Anna News in extending sympathy to the brevered wife and (missing) in this hour of sadness.
