Loretta A. Korbelik, age 74, of Fairmont, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in Fairmont. Born October 12, 1937 to Alfred and Anna (Schmitz) Peschel.

Survived by husband, Delron Korbelik Fairmont; sons, DonDel Korbelik Fairmont, Dale and Patty Korbelik Crete; daughters, Tari Redman, Minden, Corinne and Marvin Hulse, York; brother, Raymond and Diane Peschel, Geneva, Cecelia Powell and Wes Gadway, Hershey, Helen and Jerry Park, Fremont; sister-in-law, Mary Peschel, Schuyler; 11 grandchildren; great grandson.
Graveside services: 10 a.m. Monday at Fairmont Public Cemetery, Fairmont. Rev. Karla Sheffy officiating. No visitaion, cremation. Memorials in care of the family, in lieu of flowers.

Public Graveside memorial services for Loretta will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fairmont Public Cemetery. Memorials are directed to the family in lieu of flowers.
Loretta Ann Korbelik, daughter of the late Alfred and Anna J.(Schmitz) Peschel born on October 12, 1937, at Nebraska City, NE and passed away June 5, 2012 at home; at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 24 days. She was one of six children. Loretta was raised the first nine years in Nebraska City and attended 4 years of Public School. Loretta moved with her family to Exeter, NE and completed the remaining 8 years at Exeter Public School.

Loretta married Edward A. Rachow. Two daughters, Teresa Ann and Corinne Rae, were born. They lived in Strang and Geneva. After the death of her husband, Loretta remained in Geneva. On June 17, 1959, Loretta married Delron G. Korbelik. To this marriage, two sons were born, DonDel and Dale Lynn. The family moved to Fairmont in 1963. Loretta was employed for 28 years as a waitress and a bookkeeper, owner of Village Cafe, and a Volunteer Co-Coordinator for Fairview Manor. Loretta enjoyed volunteering for many organizations, Fillmore Co. Historical Assoc., Fairview Manor Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and many more, before health failed. She served as an officer of Fairmont Chamber of Commerce and Fairview Manor Auxiliary. She enjoyed art, crafting, bird watching, playing games, her yard and her flowers. Her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Loretta is survived by husband: Delron, two daughters: Tari Redman of York, NE, Corinne (Marvin) Hulse of York, NE, two sons: DonDel of Fairmont, NE, Dale(Patty) of Crete, NE, Grandchildren: Aaron, Nicholas, Erica, Annie, Chad, Samantha, Heather, Sarah, Rebeka, Jarod, and Derek. Grandchild: Jase. Brother: Raymond (Diane) of Geneva, NE, Sisters: Cecelia (Wes Gadway) Powell of Hershey, NE, Helen (Jerry) Park of Fremont, NE, Sister-in-Law: Mary Peschel of Schuyler, NE, Aunt Claire (Lyman) Halderman of Stromsburg, NE, Step-Daughter: Charlette of Manhattan, KS, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Proceeded in death by Grandparents, Parents, First Husband Edward, and brothers: Leonard Frank and James Alfred.

Delron (son of Millard Korbelik and Leone Gentry "Lindy" Jansky) was born on 3 Sep 1938 in Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska; died on 29 Jun 2022 in Fairmont, Fillmore County, Nebraska; was buried in Fairmont Public Cemetery, Fairmont, Fillmore County, Nebraska. A public Graveside Committal of Ashes will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fairmont Public Cemetery in Fairmont, Nebraska. Pastor Jeff Jensen will be officiating the committal. Memorials are directed to the family.

DonDel Korbelik, son of Delron Korbelik and the late Loretta (Peschel) Korbelik was born on March 24, 1961, at Hebron Nebraska and passed away September 9, 2014 at his home in Fairmont: at the age of 53 years, 5 months and 16 days. He was one of four children. DonDel was raised in Fairmont, attended Fairmont High School, and lived most of his life in the town he loved.

On February 24, 1989, DonDel married Jina Michelle Galusha. To this marriage 3 daughters were born: Samantha Dawn, Heather Brooke, and Sarah Faith. Following the divorce in May of 2000, the girls moved to North Carolina with their mother. It was painful for DonDel to be so far away from his daughters whom he loved so dearly.

DonDel was employed with Abenoga of York, Steve Ackland Construction and Farmers Co-op of Fairmont.

While in good health, DonDel enjoyed fishing, camping and helping his Dad at tractor pulls. He enjoyed spending time with family and especially missed the time he spent with his mother after her passing in 2012.

DonDel is survived by his three daughters of Greenville, NC, father Delron Korbelik of Fairmont, NE, brother Dale (Patty) Korbelik of Crete, NE, sisters Tari Redman of Minden, NE and Corinne (Marv) Hulse of York, NE, nephews Aaron and Nicholas Becker, Jarod and Derek Korbelik, and Chad Hulse, nieces Rebeka Brazee, Erica Becker, and Annie Rohde, great nephews Jase Korbelik and Brycen Brazee, great niece Haven Korbelik and a host of relatives and friends.

DonDel's Grandparents and his mother Loretta Korbelik preceded him in death.
