Her spouse was said to be Joseph Isaac Clark, who died in the 1952, and was buried at the Clark-Clarktown Cemetery, with Mary Etta Macel DEAS. The Trahan Family Tree on Ancestry.com shows her husband as Barney Dillard McElroy (1893-1936). Laura Buckmaster shows Barney Thomas Dillard McElroy as her first husband, and Joseph Isaac Clark as her second husband. Laura further shows that Mary was a daughter of Joseph J. DEAS and Lula S. Williford. It appears she married third a Youngblood.

    Mary married Barney Dillard McElroy about 1918. Barney (son of William Fowler "Fowl" McElroy and Sarah Katherine Ashmore) was born on 27 Mar 1898 in Sabine County, Texas; died on 14 Mar 1937 in Rusk County, Texas; was buried in Rusk State Hospital Cemetery, Rusk, Cherokee County, Texas.     He is survived by his wife Sybil Clark of Hemphill, his son Joe Clark and his wife Glinda of Hemphill, his daughter Tammy Manasco and her husband Craeton of Many, LA, his brother-in-law Wayne Hall and his wife Betty of Fred, TX, his sister Pauline Trahan of DeRidder, LA, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Hoy was preceded in death by his sisters Ann Segura and Mae Ferall and his brother Austin "Mac" McElroy.

    Private services will be announced at a later date by the family.
