  1. 1.  Clothilde Louise Anna Roquevert was born on 7 Apr 1881 in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana; died on 13 Mar 1913 in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana.

    Notes:

Bennie Zahn writes that Clothilde married Charles SIEFKER. When she died at age 32, her husband and six children survived her, the youngest, Joseph Raphael Siefker, being but eight months old. Her widower became ill several years later and was hospitalized, leaving his children in care of relatives. A neighbor cared for Raphael, the youngest, and disappeared with him--moving north to Amite, Louisiana. She mistreated him, and Raphael was removed from her care. He was later adopted by the Mayor of Amite and his wife, who were childless. Raphael was renamed Robert Ellis GOODMAN.

The SIEFKER family later discovered his whereabouts and sued for custody, all of which was reported in the Amite newspapers. The judge ruled he should stay with his adoptive parents, and the Siefker family was sadly forced to accept this decision. His ROQUEVERT aunts later travelled to Amite, and were satisfied that he had a proper home and was being well cared for.
