    Notes:

    In the STRIFFLER-BENKELMAN BROADCAST, Volume 9, September 2, 1946, in a column titled "Still in the Service of the U.S.A.", it was noted that Junior Zinnecker of Moore, Montana was stationed in Guam.

    The Striffler-Benkelman Broadcast, Volume 10, dated September 1, 1947, reported that he was employed in the Billings Hudson Motor plant as parts man.

    Art Peck wrote that Zip's ashes were scattered over Dead Man's Basin, a favorite spot. Art showed that he died in Salt Lake City, but as he is listed on the Montana State Death Index, it is being assumed he actually died somewhere in Montana.

    Notes:

    Volume 14 of the STRIFFLER-BENKELMAN BROADCAST, dated September 3, 1951, reported that her graduated from Fergus County High School in Moort, Montana. At the time of the publication of Volume 16, in September 1953, he was serving in the armed forces, and stationed at Kessler Field in Mississippi. Volume 17 reported he was a Radio Operator on a cargo plane stationed in Texas. When Volume 18 was published, in September of 1955, he had been transferred to Thule Air Force Base in Greenland. As of the September, 1956 publication date of Volume 19, it was reported he was ready for discharge after a year in Greenland as a Radio Operator. In the 1962 issue, it was reported that they family had moved from Billings, Montana to the family farm in Moore, Montana.
