Cora Lee Clark Williams Stark, 97, of Kirbyville died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, at Avalon Place Care Center in Kirbyville.
Mrs. Stark, a native of Yellowpine, had lived in Kirbyville several years.
Surivors: a son, Samuel Lee Williams Sr., of Meadville, Mississippi; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Graveside rites were held Sept. 22 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Sabine County.

Funeral service for Mrs. Evelyn Jewell Kelley White, 86, of Granbury, Texas formerly of Nacogdoches will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011, at 11:00 am at Laird Funeral Home with Rev. Ferrar Bentley officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
Mrs. White was born on March 4, 1925, in Browndel, Texas to the late Oscar L. and Jewell Chance Kelley. She passed away on July 21, 2011, in Granbury, Texas.
Evelyn was raised in Sabine County, Texas. She and her family moved to Nacogdoches in the 1940s. She enjoyed sewing dresses, clothes and quilting as well as watching Dancing with the Stars. Evelyn was a very private but generous person. She was an excellent wife and mother and would help anyone in need. She worked all her life and took care of her family.
Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Lisa Littlefield of Arlington, Texas and Virginia Cox and husband, Jim of Trinity, Texas; one son, John White and wife, Gail of Nacogdoches; two brothers, Bobby Kelley and wife, Monika of Granbury, Texas and Edwin Kelley and wife, Beverly of Longview, Texas; one sister, Nancy Womack of Bronson, Texas; three sisters-in-law, Martha Kelley of Katy, Texas, Avis Kelley of Katy, Texas and Lula Rose Kelley of Houston, Texas; one brother-in-law, Hershel Lawson of Jasper, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family and good friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Maxine Lane, Frankie Coan, Shirley Jones, Jackie Robinson and Ida Nell Lawson; and brothers, Melton T., Oscar "Buddy", William "Billy Joe and W.H. Kelley.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Lambret, Buck Lee, Jerry Don Fultz, A.R. Armstrong, James Griffis and Dr. Nick Schwedock.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Nacogdoches Senior Center, 621 Harris St., Nacogdoches, Texas 75961.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2011, from 5-7 pm at Laird Funeral Home.

Shirley Ruth Jones, our beloved Mom and Maw Maw, passed away Feb. 26, 2010. She was born Dec. 2, 1935 in Sabine County, Texas to Jewel and Oscar Kelley.
Shirley was a retired beautician. She worked at North Main Beauty Shop. Ms. Jones then owned and operated Shirl's Beauty Box for many years until she retired. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandkids.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; four sisters; and her husband and love of her life, Marlin Royce Jones.
She is survived by sons, Thomas David Maxwell and wife Christine, Rickey Dale Maxwell and wife Wanda, Gary Lynn Maxwell and wife Faye, and Donald Ray Maxwell and wife Stacey; sisters, Evelyn White and Nancy Womack; brothers, Bobby Kelley and Ed Kelley; special sister-in-law, Patsy Cummings; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in Greenwood Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Galbreaith-Pickard is in charge of arrangements.

Joseph Clayton Click, Jr., 84, of Geneva, Texas, died Friday night in the Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. He was born in Geneva to Joseph Clayton and Thelma Genevra Horne Click. J.C. served in the U.S.Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a truckdriver being an owner/operator. He was a member of the Geneva Baptist Church, life member of the V.F.W. post 10351, D.A.V. and 31st Infantry.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ann Click of Geneva, his daughter Sandra Crowell of Nacogdoches, his sons; Tommy Click of Diana, TX, and Joey Click of Livingston, TX, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Beverly Harris and his granddaughter Sara Click.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM, Sunday, March 3, 2013, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Monday, March 4, 2013, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Geneva, Texas.

She was born June 26, 1933, to Thelma Horn Click and J.C. Click Sr. in Sabine County where she lived the majority of her life. Hazel was a lady of many talents and professions, including beauty salon owner/operator, large apartment property management, hair color regional representative for Roux Color Company, and area supervisor for S.T.E.P. which was a state employment program for needy seniors and training to move them into public job placements. She loved everyone and prayed diligently for her family, friends and nation. She was a true prayer warrior and Bible scholar.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Corlis Q. Foley; her parents; two sisters, Maurine Click Jones and Lois Click Gandy Jewel; brother, John Robert Click; and adopted daughter, Martha Freeman.
Those left to honor her memory are daughter Sylvia Foley Toole and husband Ron of Conroe; son, Corlis Gale Foley of Godfrey, Ill.; brother, J.C. Click and wife Ann of Geneva; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous caring friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to all the employees of Lexington Place Care Facility in Nacogdoches. She loved them so much and they treated her like family. Also, Heart to Heart Hospice. They were so helpful in the transition from this life to her eternal life in heaven. These two organizations were truly angels on Earth for us.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr St., Hemphill. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, in the Starr Funeral Home. Beverly Jean Harris, 48, of Geneva died at 8:20 am Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003 at Medical Center Hospital in Nacogdoches. Mrs. Harris, born April 4, 1955, had been a lifelong resident of Sabine County and was a teacher at Brookeland High School. She was a member of Geneva Baptist Church and Delta Kappa Gamma. Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill with Bro. Eddie SMITH and Bro. Brad LANKFORD officiating. Interment followed at Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Geneva.

Sara Katlyn Click, 16, of Pineland died Friday March 16, 2007, in a traffic accident in Nacogdoches County. Miss Click was born Sept. 26, 1990, Nacogdoches County and had lived in Pineland for several years and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a sophomore at Hemphill High School where she was a majorette in the Hornet Marching Band and participated in UIL activities. Survivors: parents, Tommy and Tanyia CLICK of Pineland, sisters, Emily CLICK and Anna CLICK, both of Pineland, and grandparents, J.C. and Ann CLICK of Geneva, James and Janice YOUNG of Gilmer and Henry and Helen ADAMS of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at First Baptist Church Life Center in Pineland, with Bro. Don Falke, Bro. Ron Whittle, and Bro. Gordon Knight officiating. Interment will follow at Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Geneva. Services are under the direction of Starr Funeral Home Inc in Hemphill.
