Funeral for Polk Hawthorne Sr., 84, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Central Baptist Church in Kirbyville with burial in Zion Hill Cemetery under direction of Causey's E.E. Stringer Funeral Home of Kirbyville. Hawthorne died at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Schlesinger Geriatric Center in Beaumont. He was a lifelong resident of Roganville and a retired farmer.
