  Notes	Mary Gilley Services for Mary Gilley, 63, of Jasper were held Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Tanglewood Baptist Church in Jasper with burial following at Zion Hill Cemetery. Mary died Monday, August 17, 2009 in Jasper. A native of Jasper County, she was a longtime resident of Harrisburg Community. A 1964 graduate of Jasper High School and Chenier Business College, she worked for many years in Education Administration. She was an active member of Tanglewood Baptist Church and was Vice President of The East End Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening in her yard, camping & traveling. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Bennis Wayne Gilley. Survivors include her mother, Gladys Bradshaw of Jasper, her husband of 33 years Lawrence "Larry" Gilley of Harrisburg, son , Michael Dean Gilley of Beaumont, two daughters, Holly Murphy of Lufkin, and Melody Rutledge of Ballinger, two brothers, Spencer Ray Bradshaw and Arthur Dean Bradshaw both of Jasper, sister, Bobbie Kay Hancock of Jasper, seven grandchildren, Devon, Ashley, Grace, Carson, Emma, Wyatt & Mason. She is also survived by a host of other family & friends. Memorials may be made to The Wayne Gilley Scholarship Fund, c/o The Jasper 4H Club, Att: Cindy, 271 E.
