  	The 1900 census showed that she was the mother of 4 children, three still living. She and Manley had been married for 7 years. As of the 1910 census, it was indicated that they had been married 16 years, and that she was the mother of 8 children, 7 of whom were living. Laura Buckmaster shows 2 children not shown on the census. They are Mattie and Mary. One of these children may have been the child that died. But unless Augusta died in childbirth, it is unlikely their was a ninth child. The 1910 census was taken on the 21 Day of April, 1910. Gussie is shown as having died just a month later, on May 20, 1910.
